From conservatory to flat roof with lantern skylight.

From conservatory to flat roof with lantern skylight.

Project Overview

The clients had an old conservatory at the back of their home that was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. They wanted a year-round living space that was practical, well-insulated, and full of natural light. We replaced the conservatory with a new flat-roof extension, complete with a large lantern skylight to flood the space with daylight.

What We Did

  • Removed the outdated conservatory structure.

  • Built a solid flat-roof extension with proper insulation and modern finishes.

  • Installed a lantern skylight to brighten the room and create a sense of height and space.

  • Opened up the interior to connect seamlessly with the rest of the home.

  • Completed with clean plastering, flooring, and electrical work for a polished finish.
